Upcoming Postcards and Canvassing

As the summer heats up, so is the campaign season and there are a lot of ways you can get involved:

June 18 Postcard Parties in Lincoln Square

Join our partner, Indivisible Chicago, on Tuesday, June 18 at Gideon Welles Craft Beer Bar & Kitchen (4500 N. Lincoln Ave.) and write postcards to voters in swing states! Feel free to bring your own postcards from Postcards to Swing States or just show up and they’ll provide you with everything you need including postcards, pens, scripts, and addresses. RSVP’s recommended but walk-ins are welcome! Learn more and sign up here. If you miss June 18, don’t worry— they do this every Tuesday!

Upcoming Canvassing in Michigan and Wisconsin

Future trips

Mark your calendars for these future trips as well. Don’t worry—we’ll send reminders once it gets closer.

Though it may seem early, going door to door early is essential to:

  • Start messaging early: It takes even likely voters at least 3 interactions to make it likely that they will vote in November. We need to start early given the stakes in this election!

  • Show voters that we listen and care: We want to show voters that Democrats care about them and want to hear from them about issues that matter most. There is nothing more impactful or effective than having a face to face conversation with voters at the door.

  • Turn enthusiastic voters into volunteers: We need all hands on deck to elect Democrats up and down the ballot!

We hope to see you at some of these events soon!
